Hand-painted blue and white dragon pattern cover bowl, replicating the ancient court system, with classic blue and white cobalt blue raw materials, hand-painted five-clawed dragon pattern and cloud pattern, the overall shape of the vessel is full, the glaze is glistening, it is the core of the tea ceremony with both practical and collectible value.
The five-clawed dragon motif often symbolizes power, strength and auspiciousness. The cloud pattern often symbolizes auspiciousness and movement. This bowl is molded with kaolin clay from Jingdezhen, colored with original glaze, and fired at over 1300 degrees Celsius for an oily texture.
